Books by providing library grants to government schools to strengthen libraries. Operations including provision have been undertaken. The National Achievement Survey 2016 has found that reading books improves children's achievement. For the first time, provision has been made for a separate annual library grant from primary school to higher secondary school.
Provision has been made for library grant of Rs.2000 to Rs.50,000 from primary school to secondary school which is as under.
