 No need to panic if you don't have a driving license or RC, exemption from all rules given by the government


If the police ask you for a driving license, or an RC book and it has expired, the police cannot impose a fine.

AHMEDABAD: An advisory has been issued by the Ministry of Roads and Transport of the Government of India in the Covid-12 situation. This advisory is a matter of document related to the vehicle and the driver. According to the advisory, citizens are exempted from vehicle and license related odocuments till 31.12.2050. These documents include vehicle fitness, driving license, RC, permit, etc.





During the enforcement operation, the enforcement officer / staff will have to perform the enforcement work keeping in view the advisory. In addition, the applicant will only have to pay the novice license fee related to the type of vehicle for the operation of re-issuing the novice license of the novice license after the six-month time limit relating to the novice license. All other fees like smart card-application fee etc. will be carried forward as stated in the list of the Commissioner of Vehicle Transactions.

In a way, the police will now indirectly avoid asking you for a driving license or RC book. Because there is no point in asking for these things if they can't afford it. So that the hands of the police have been indirectly cut off. So now the police will avoid any kind of administration in this regard. The police will only do traffic regulation work. Because in case of not having license or not having RC book, waiver has been given by the government till December. So that the hands of the police have been indirectly cut off.
